LOVE TANZANIA FESTIVAL WITH ANDREW PALAU
MEDIA BRIEF
Executive Summary:
Love Tanzania Festival is a part of a larger story in Africa that involves 10 Capital Cities in 10 yrs. A vision of International evangelist Andrew Palau - supported and invited by leaders in Africa. Significant Festivals have taken place in Cairo, Egypt; Kigali, Rwanda; Kampala, Uganda; Bujumbura, Burundi and now on August 11-12 in Dar es Salaam.
800 plus churches will host Love Tanzania Festival with Andrew Palau. The Festival will take place at Jangwani Grounds and will feature:
Ø a high energy Children’s program with DUGGIE DUG DUG from London, England;
Ø Action Sports Demos (including FMX stunt team JUNGLE RUSH from Johannesburg, SA and BMX shows performed by ACTION SPORTS OUTREACH from San Diego, CA);
Ø Food Vendors will be providing food each day so bring a little cash to buy something to eat.
Ø The Festival will also feature a world class Gospel Music show.
Ø The Main Stage will present local Tanzanian artists; THE VOICE, CHRISTINA SHUSHO, JOHN LISU plus a team of well-known worship leaders.
Ø Tanzania’s much loved MASANJA will share his story, and
Ø Dar es Salaam will also be blessed to host international Gospel Music sensations DON MOEN and NICOLE C MULLEN and DAVE LUBBEN.
Ø Each day Andrew Palau will be with us to share a message of love and hope for Tanzania. This event is a partnership between the Luis Palau Association based in Portland, OR in the USA and currently over 800 churches in the city. The local leadership planning this Festival involves nearly 200 people from every major denomination in the city.

6-10 August READING EYE GLASS CLINICS

10,000 Pairs of Reading Glasses will be available at these 4 locations for free. US and Tanzanian Eye Doctors are partnering together under Love Tanzania to bring a tremendous gift in these 4 communities. Come Early to see the Doctor and receive a free pair of reading glasses
6-10 August SOCCER + BASKETBALL CLINICS
9:00-11:30a.m / 1:30-4:30p.m. Play for Hope
15 Professional Soccer / Basketball coaches from Rwanda will host clinics for thousands of kids in Ilala, Temeke and Kinondoni. Confirmed Schedule distributed to Media Houses by July 23rd.
SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS
Duggie Dug Dug and a team of Volunteers will do presentations in 8 primary Schools.
Vic Murphy, John Andrus (BMX ACTION SPORTS Team) will do Demos in 5 Primary Schools and then will team up with the Play for Hope Afternoon Main site. The Action Sports team will be joined by international evangelist Mike Parker and a team of volunteers.

7 August WOMEN’S DINNER

Matron of Honor, Evelyne Warioba, and the LTF Women’s Committee are inviting 600 Women to an elegant dinner to hear Wendy and Andrew Palau share their story.
8 August BUSINESS AND CIVIC LEADERS DINNER
6:00 p.m. Karimjee Hall
600 Government, Corporate CEOs, Dar es Salaam leaders will be invited to another special Dinner moment with Andrew Palau.

All Volunteer Workers will be asked to attend this dedication time. Potentially 2,000-3,000 workers will attend.
